Missions is a vital part of State Street UMC. We believe that we are called to reach out in love to our brothers and sisters in our community and around the world. We are the hands and feet of Christ; the church is the hope of the world. We are actively building a full infrastructure that would allow people of all ages and experience levels to be involved in some type of mission work.

This work may be done through monetary donations or hands-on volunteer hours. It may involve working in service locally, either through one of our church-sponsored missions or with one of our many local partnerships. It could involve traveling to places around the world to support the work of Christ in other nations. We are currently involved in mission trips to Costa Rica, Guatemala, and South Sudan. Whether a person’s passion is to serve locally, nationally, internationally, or all of the above, everyone can serve in missions at State Street UMC.
