About Me — I was born and raised in Bristol, Virginia and although I have lived in England and Navarre Beach, Florida, I always come home. I am married with five children and a lovely grandson and a granddaughter due in the spring. My husband is from England and we enjoy watching Manchester United matches and spending time with our children. I graduated from Virginia High and am studying to earn my degree in Business Management. My best friend is a little orange tabby cat named Delilah.
What I like to do for fun and relaxation – My favorite way to have fun is spending as much time as possible with my new grandson. I also like to read and crochet. I enjoy British crime dramas and collecting Elvis memorabilia.
My Favorite Food — My husband’s homemade lasagna and I love a good Chicken Tikka Masala curry.
My Favorite Music — Elvis. Anything Elvis. I also love contemporary Christian music.
My Favorite Vacation Spot — Navarre Beach, Florida.
The Bible Character I most identify with — I adore Mary, the mother of Jesus. She is such an inspiration as a mother. I strive to imitate her love and support as a parent.
My Favorite Bible Verse — Psalm 37:4 – “Delight yourself also in the Lord and he shall give you the desires of your heart.”
What I like best about State Street UMC — I love the friendly, supportive members and staff at State Street. I have felt welcomed and appreciated from the moment I arrived.
