At State Street United Methodist Church Adult Ministries,
we seek to provide everyone with two major opportunities.

A Place to Learn

We are committed to helping you learn and grow in your Christian faith. At State Street, we accomplish this by providing learning opportunities throughout the year through Bible studies, book studies, small groups and Sunday school. Some examples are:

•  Reading through the Bible with the One Year Bible reading plan.
•  Book studies such as How to Have that Difficult Conversation You’ve Been Avoiding, Emotionally Healthy Spirituality, and The Screwtape Letters
•  Small group studies of A Study of Marriage, the Gospel of John, and Adam Hamilton’s book Enough.
•  The Recovery at Bristol teaching series

A Place to Serve

One of the greatest things about the church is that it gives everyone an opportunity to serve in his or her community and throughout the world.

“There are varieties of gifts, but the same Spirit; and there are varieties of services but the same Lord.” – 1 Corinthians 12:4

We have abilities and purpose and at State Street, we wish to have everyone serving God in a way that is fulfilling in their lives and the lives of others. Click here to get started serving at State Street.
